Choosing the right daycare is an important decision for your family. We know parents often have questions about how we care for and support children in our program. To help, we’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions we receive from families.

1. What is the student-to-teacher ratio in your classrooms?
We follow provincial guidelines to ensure quality care and supervision:
- 18 months–3 years: 1 educator for every 5 children.
- 3–5 years: 1 educator for every 8 children
2. How do you support different learning styles and abilities?
Every child learns in their own way. Our educators use a play-based, inclusive approach—adapting activities for visual, auditory, and hands-on learners. We also provide extra support where needed and partner with families to help each child thrive.
3. What safety measures are in place for the children?
Safety is our top priority. Our centre is secure with controlled access, childproofed classrooms, and outdoor play spaces designed for safe exploration. Educators are trained in First Aid and CPR, and we conduct regular emergency drills and headcounts.
4. What does a typical day look like?
Our daily schedule balances structured activities and free play. Children enjoy circle time, art, music, story time, and outdoor play each day. We also build in rest time for toddlers. While we don’t provide meals, we encourage families to pack healthy snacks and lunches for their child.
5. How do you communicate with parents?
We provide daily updates on activities, rest, and highlights from your child’s day. Parents are always welcome to check in with educators, and we hold regular parent meetings to discuss growth, development, and progress.
